Switched Junction box comes with double sided tape already applied on backside of it for sticking this onto the necessary location.

This is ARE's switched junction box used on commercial truck caps with interior dome lighting. This is the driver's side switched junction box which is typically found on the top rear corner of the driver side door opening. This switched junction box is the "on/off" switch for the interior lights. It is also the box that has the electrical power in port, secondary prop switch out port, and direct power out ports built into it. Please make sure this is the correct side you need as the switch above the truck cap's rear door and passenger side door are a different part number even though it would look nearly identical.

To identify that this is the correct switch you need please look at the pictures. With the switch laying on a table or flat surface and the switch itself facing towards you make sure you see "PWR IN" and "AUX OUT" on the left side of the switch. On the right side of the switch will be the ports labeled "DRT OUT" and "SW OUT".

DRT OUT stands for Direct Power Out. The switch does not control the power coming out of that port

SW OUT stands for switch out. The power coming out of that port functions with the position of the junction box switch

AUX SW stands for Auxiliary Switch. This is for caps with switches on the door gas prop that make the light turn on and off when the door is opened and closed.

PWR In stands for POWER IN. This is the input of power from the cap's 12V wire source.
