All 3 of these handle assemblies are built with BOLT LOCK cylinders made for the 1998 and newer Toyota Trucks up until 2023 Tacoma trucks and 2021 Tundra trucks. Will not work with slide cut keys.

The lock cylinders are designed to get coded to your Toyota truck's ignition key. To do that properly, the key needs to be firmly inserted into the cylinder completely. Then rotate the key very firmly without stopping until you come to a complete stop, reverse direction and turn key again until coming to a complete stop. Then rotate the key back and forth several times before removing key from the cylinder.
