This kit is a NO-SPLICE, NO-CUT harness designed to be a plug and play item for wiring any truck cap brake light and interior dome light into your truck. The truck MUST HAVE a 7 way round trailer connector for this item to plug into. This wiring harness is Leer part #300100. This is made by Leer and offered with their truck caps but can be used on any truck cap. We use these on ARE, LEER, Jeraco, Ranch, Century caps etc.

This kit comes pre packaged from Leer and will include the complete T-connector harness, wire loom for a clean finished look, connector lubricant, wiring instructions and 2 different truck side plugs. One truck side plug is designed to fit all LEER/Century brand caps and another more universal style connector used on different brands of cap. You may need to alter the connector on your cap to plug into this set up (replacement cap side plug included)

This will fit certain years/models of Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Nissan and Toyota Trucks. Please see the attached chart in the photos to ensure you order the correct part. The highlighted truck models are the proper fit for this wiring harness.

UPDATE: The 2025 and up Ram trucks require their own harness part #227624 We do have those listed on our store.

UPDATE 2: ON 2013-2015 TACOMA TRUCKS PLEASE MAKE SURE THE OEM 7 WAY WIRE HARNESS ON THE TRUCK WILL UNPLUG FROM THE BACK SIDE OF TRUCK'S TOW PLUG AND MATCH THE SHAPE OF THE CONNECTIONS ON THIS 300100 SET UP.
